Open positions and funding

If you are generally interested in a PhD and/or Postdoc position in our group, feel free to contact via email, preferably with a short CV and your prefered research directions. Availabilty of resources for supervision and for funding are highly individual and vary strongly over time. Usually, a master or diploma degree in mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field is required, always with a strong background in applied mathematics, numerics and programming.

Topics

In general, Bachelor, Master, and PhD topics are available upon request. Possible topics are typically from the general scope of the group as described on the research pages and cover aspects of analysis and / or numerics ranging from purely theoretical focussing on (numerical) analysis to very practical works with a more heavy load of software development and implementation.
